Dear Breastfeeding Friends;
Every baby that comes into the world has the right to adequate and balanced nutrition for healthy growth and development. Breastfeeding is the most ideal method for babies and children to use this right. New ones are added to the known features, components and benefits of human milk every day. Based on the necessity of sharing and discussing all these innovations with scientists and health professionals, we have planned the 3rd International Breastfeeding Reality Congress between May 17-19, 2025.
This congress, planned to be organized under the leadership of TEMAS Association and in cooperation with Ankara University Faculty of Nursing, will cover the theme of “Equal Opportunities in Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Future”. We believe that with this congress, which we planned in line with the ethical principles of the International Code on the Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes (Food Code), we will contribute to the support and development of breastfeeding in our country and the world, and bring together all relevant sectors with a sense of common responsibility.
In our congress, with a holistic approach, human milk; a living food that supports mother and child health in the short and long term, a unique nutrient, in addition to all known facts, new facts about breastfeeding, common misconceptions will be shared, and the truth of breastfeeding and the breastfeeding relationship of all relevant disciplines within the scope of the common responsibility to protect breastfeeding will be discussed within the scope of “Equal Opportunities in Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Future” by experts in the scientific environment with up-to-date data.
We will be happy to see you, valuable scientists who are devoted to supporting breast milk and breastfeeding and have important studies in the literature on this subject, and to benefit from your knowledge and experience in our congress.
